Try the bookshop on top of the Le Tigre de Papier bar in the Old Market. It has thousands of used books in many languages that can be bought or exchanged. Newspapers are also available. Lazy Mango bookshop near the Old Market and next door to the Angkor What? pub is also a good bet with mostly English used books and CDs.
There are several banks in Siem Reap. Cambodia Asia Bank and Mekong Bank are on Sivatha St. Union Commercial Bank, Canadia Bank and National Bank are near the Old Market.

Walking
Siem Reap is so small it is pretty easy to get around town on foot unless you’re staying in a guesthouse out of town.
Moto’s
Some moto drivers will speak English in Siem Reap. 1,000 - 2,000 riel for short trips around town. Add a little bit more to the price in the evening.
