Siem Reap, Samrong, Banteay Chmar

This trip a friend of mine Philippe and I went looking for ancient bridges. Our travels took us from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap where we crossed the first bridges along Route 6. We saw a bridge off the NW corner of the West Baray before heading to Samrong.  From Siem Reap we left the 6 at P'sar Pouk and traveled along the Angkor Highway to Samrong seeing a temple at T'nuang and 2 more in the small village of Koul. A day trip out of Samrong near the town of Ta Pen to the south revealed six more bridges and a couple more prasats. The following day we went to Mebon at Banteay Chmar located in a Baray accross the main road. We then headed to Banteay Toup before we made it to Sisophon. We then left Sisophon to Phnom Penh.
