Battambang, Sisophon, Ko Ker,
Siem Reap and Temples to Phnom Penh
This trip we went around the
Tonle Sap Lake. First stop was Battambang and the 13K ride north to the ancient
temple of Ek Phnom. From there we went to Sisophon and took the road into Siem Reap. The
next day was a side trip to pyramid temple of Ko Ker, 130K out of Siem Reap. On the
return we hit the temple at Beng Malea. We also caught a sunset at Wat Athvea 3K
south of Siem Reap. On the return to Phnom Penh, I went temple hunting and found Prasat
Svay Eia, Prasat Andaet, and Wat Prasat all in Kampong Thom Province.
